Cristina Valenzuela (born July 11, 1987), known by his stage name Cristina Vee , is an American actress who voted for anime English video, cartoons and video game production. Vee was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, grown on Norwalk. When he was younger he wanted to be an animator, but after watching Sailor Moon, he was inspired to be a voice actor. He has attended the Anime Expo several times as a fan, and participated in their AX Idol voice-over contest. In 2004, he joined a sound panel where he helped work on some equipment and then got a card from Wendee Lee to audition for several performances with Bang Zoom! Entertainment, including Samurai Champloo . His first major role was Kanaria at Rozen Maiden . He studied Theater Arts and graduated from California State University in Long Beach in 2007. In 2008, he voiced the title character in Aika R-16: Virgin Mission, Louise at Familiar of Zero, i> and Nanoha in Lyrical Nanoha Magical Girl . She plays Haruhi Suzumiya in a promotional video for the second series of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and appeared as her at various events.
In 2011, she voiced the shy bassist Mio Akiyama in the school musical comedy K-On! and Nagisa Sait? in comedy Squid Girl . That year, he starred in the anime feature film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, attending an American anime convention with Japanese writer Dai Sato to promote the film. In 2012, he voiced Homura Akemi in Puella Magi Madoka Magica . In 2013, she voiced Princess Yo at Nura: Rise of Yokai Clan and Red Hood in the series Ikki Tousen . In 2014, he voiced Morgiana in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and the Honoka Sisters at Knights of Sidonia. She was chosen to voice Sailor Mars in Viz's nickname of Sailor Moon and the new Sailor Moon Crystal series. Animation project
Vee has been involved in various animation projects. In March 2012, he started a crowdfunding Kickstarter campaign to produce animated music videos along with Cybergraphix Animation and Studio APPP. The main character of the video, "Cristina Veecaloid", was designed by Skullgirls creative director Alex Ahad, whose character was then named Milky and made into an iOS game called Veecaloid Pop released in 2015. He is also involved in casting voice and directing Skullgirls video games and web series. The game was nominated at the 40th Annie Awards. He got the English voice role from the title character Marinette Dupain-Cheng aka Ladybug in the CGI animated series. Magical: Tales of Ladybug & amp; Cat Noir , which premiered on Nickelodeon in December 2015. Executive producer Jared Wolfsen said that Vee and other English dub voice actors bring a lot of energy to their character, and that Vee himself is just like Ladybug - sweet and good, and very fun to watch.
Video games, hosting and other projects
Vee has been involved in voice-overs for video games, mostly with English localization of Japanese titles produced by Atlus USA, NIS America and nicknamed by Bang Zoom. Some of the key roles are Noel Vermillion on BlazBlue, Velvet Crowe at the Tales of Merry, Riven the Exile in League of Legends, Four in Drakengard 3 , Compa in the series Hyperdimension Neptunia and the title character of the series Shantae . He directs and produces voice for the upcoming video game Indivisible which is being crowdfunded.
In addition to being Haruhi Suzumiya's live action, Vee has appeared on screen on various web series, television shows and shows. She is a host on Anime TV where she reviews shows and interviews people, and appears on Funimation On Demand and Crunchyroll. He is a live host of IGN's IPL4 and IPL5 League of Legends video game tournaments in Las Vegas. She is a frequent guest at many anime conventions throughout the United States and around the world.
Beyond voice acting, Vee has uploaded several rendering anime songs on YouTube. In 2015, he released an EP titled Menagerie with DJ Bouche which is part of the Omakase Viewster subscription service. Vee lives in the Los Angeles area. In the Reddit Ask Me Anything session, when asked about his ethnicity, he said he was of Mexican descent, a Native American, and a Lebanese.
