"Wristband" is also the title song of 2016 by Paul Simon.
Bracelets encircle the strip worn on the wrist or forearm. The term can be used to refer to a band-like bracelet, similar to a watch, to a cuff or other part of the arm covering the wrist, or to a decorative or functional band worn on the wrist for various reasons. Bracelets are often worn and used similarly to events passing like lanyards to information or allowing people to get into events. The bracelet is made of a plastic loop placed around the wrist and used for identification purposes (indicating the authorization of the wearer is in place, for example).
Other types of bracelets are sweatbands; usually made of terrycloth towel-like material. It's usually used to wipe the sweat of the forehead during exercise but has been known to be used as a badge or fashion statement. A common practice in the mid-1980s punk subculture was to cut the tops of socks and fashion elastic into this type of bracelet.

Gelang silikon
In the early to mid-2000s (decades), bracelets often made from silicon became popular. They are used to indicate user support from a cause or charity organization, similar to the band of consciousness. Such bracelets are sometimes called awareness bracelets to distinguish them from other types of bracelets. In early 2007, they became increasingly popular items that were sold as merchandise at concerts & amp; sporting events around the world. A bracelet or an official trademark bracelet that allows the seller to offer a low priced item option to fans. Silicone bracelets can also be called gel wristbands, jelly bracelets, rubber bands, and fundraising bracelets. All of these bracelets are made of the same silicone material.

UV ultra violet bracelet
UV Ultra Violet Sensitive silicone bracelet looks clear/white when out of UV rays, but when exposed to ultraviolet rays such as sunlight the color of the bracelet turns to blue or fuchsia. These bands can be used as a reminder for people to apply sunscreen or stay in the shade on summer days.
Hospital bracelets
Hospital bracelets are common security tools used to identify patients undergoing medical treatment (see patient safety and medical identification tags). Available in a variety of sizes to accommodate patients as small as newborns and as big as obese adults, hospital bracelets can be handwritten, embossed, laser-printed or imaged with names, drawings, medical record numbers, barcodes and other personal identifiers.
Laser printing and thermal imaging - the most advanced technology for personalizing hospital wristbands - supports fonts, colors and barcodes to improve patient safety through electronic patients and drug tracking. Handwritten and embossed hand bracelets remain widely used, however, despite the findings of compromised safety reported in 2007. The National Pediatric Security Agency (NPSA) found that as many as 2,900 patients each year received the wrong medical treatment due to the inability of the home staff pain to read damaged or unclear patient information on hand and embossed hand bracelets.
Event bracelet
Colored bracelets are often given to people attending events such as music and show festivals, as a measure of access control. Fake bracelets are becoming increasingly common.
Silicone Bracelets (several times referred to as Gel wristbands) are popular for fundraising or show support for a reason. Special bracelets are usually created by the event organizer and are given or sold to others interested in the event or supporting the cause.
Some people store bracelets as souvenirs or wear bracelets after the show to show what events they are coming to.
Further use for bracelets in ticket events at music festivals and sporting events may include an NFC (near field communication) chip that will allow unattended payment in concessions and turnstiles. Ideal bracelets are used for dark environments such as nightclubs and bars or open spaces where customers can be as far away as festivals and amusement parks.
Additionally this colored bracelet style is used with the hospital patient band listed above to serve as an extra safety reminder and a warning for Allergies. They will have a standard color and will have a written label such as "Fall Risks" (which may come from medical conditions, injuries and/or drugs used with all the above possibilities causing increased safety risk warnings), "Allergies" (for cover allergic reactions to major risk for list by band type), "Latex Allergy" (to ensure medical safety gloves are not made of latex which is a more direct risk than other allergies), among several other important cautions that will protect patients by preventing Iatrogenic error, reducing additional medical complications.
