In the television series, Miami Vice, firearms take a key role. Episodes like "Evan" revolve around them, while the characters themselves also use some firearms during the series. Sonny Crockett (played by Don Johnson) has used the SIG Sauer P220, but this was replaced by the more modern Bren Ten. The importance of firearms in Miami Vice is shown by Galco International, which provides the gloves worn by Don Johnson on the show, calling its sheath Miami Classic .

Sonny Crockett

Initially, James "Sonny" Crockett will use Sauer P220 SIG in.45 Auto which is proven in pilot episodes. He also carried Detonics Pocket 9 as a backup, tucked in his back waist near his small back. But then it was decided that a more sophisticated weapon would be used by Don Johnson. During the first season, he used the Bren Ten gun he carried in the shoulder protector of the "Lifeline" back. Due to Don Johnson's discontent with the "Lifeline" rig, Jackass Leather Company (later renamed Galco International) "rig rig shoulder rig" Original Rig Jackass was personally installed for him by Rick Gallagher (President Galco). Finally, Galco's "Miami Classic" shoulder holster is designed and used. The Bren Ten, manufactured by Dornaus & amp; Dixon, is a famous stainless steel gun as the first cubicle ever in the powerful 10mm Auto caliber. Bren Ten was originally produced as a two-tone weapon: carbon steel slide is a black oxide and the frame is stainless steel. The model used in Miami Vice has a matte matte that makes it look better during nighttime shooting. The gun used in the show was lined up at.45 ACP, as opposed to the standard 10mm Auto. After Dornaus & amp; The Dixon company went out of business in 1986, the product placement contract went to Smith & amp; Wesson. Beginning with the third season, Sonny used the 2nd Generation Smith & amp; Wesson Model 645. This is a full-diameter 5-inch stainless-steel service gun at.45ACP. Galco Gunleather, formerly Jackass Leather Co., built a "Miami Classic" shoulder shell for S & amp; W 645 is used. At Galco Gunleather's headquarters, there is a large screen containing Don Johnson's Don Vino shirt shoulders, accompanied by his signed photograph. At the end of 1988 Smith & amp; Wesson launched their new Third Generation automatic pistol series, so for the last season Sonny Model 645 was replaced with Smith & amp; Wesson Model 4506. This gun has 20 design enhancements including one section of the curved handle. Sonny's M 4506 can be seen at the beginning of the episode "Victim of State" when he is sitting in the cafe and see it. Sonny also had a.45 ACP Detonics Combat-Master backup gun in ankle-leggings on his left leg, replacing Pocket 9 from the pilot episode. This can be seen in the bar scene scene in the episode "Prodigal Son". In the last series episode "Freefall" Crockett puts what looks to be S & amp; W CS45 (compact alloy framed.45ACP) in the ankle sheath.

Rico Tubbs

He can also be seen using the SIG P228 at the end of the 'Freefall' series and Smith & amp; Wesson Model 36 in the pilot episode.
