Nation Media Group (abbreviated as NMG ) is a Kenyan media group listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange. NMG was founded by Aga Khan IV in 1959 and is the largest private media house in East and Central Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. In 1999, NMG launched NTV, news channels in Kenya, and FM Easy.

The publication groups include The EastAfrican , Daily Nation , The Daily Business of Africa , Daily Monitor /i>, Investor Briefing NMG , Taifa Leo and Zuqka . The Daily Nation and the Sunday edition of the same newspaper, Sunday Nation , celebrated their 50th anniversary, labeled by the Nation Media Group as 50 Years of Gold , in 2010.
NMG owns 76.5% interest in Monitor Publications Limited and 93.3 KFM, a Kampala based radio station in Uganda. It also has two television stations in the country, NTV Uganda and Spark TV. NMG also owns a 60% interest in Mwananchi Communications Limited in Tanzania. The East African subsidiary group, particularly the Tanzanian business, contributed significantly to the growth in the group.
In March 2016, NMG commissioned a new print media on Mombasa Road in Nairobi. The new facility has the capacity to print 86,000 newspapers per hour. It costs KSh2 billion (about US $ 20 million) and will print daily Daily Nation Business Daily , Taifa Leo and weekly The EastAfrican .

The Group's shares are listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange and listed on the Uganda Stock Exchange as well as the Rwandan Stock Exchange, trading on all three exchanges under the symbol "NMG". - CfC Stanbic Nominee Limited with 0.81 percent share ownership.
