Two-sided ribbon is a pressure-sensitive band coated with adhesive on both sides. It's designed to attach two surfaces together, often in a way that is not visible on the final product, because it is between objects rather than overlaying. This allows for a cleaner project and better expertise. Two-sided ribbons can be thin or dimensional. The dimensional bands are thicker, and are especially used for retail use and marks where it can be used to allow for signs or displays to stand out with 3-D effects.
A two-sided ribbon is made by applying a thin adhesive layer to each side of the carrier material. For example, a two-sided, double-sided, double-sided ribbon ribbon, made by applying adhesive to both sides of tissue paper, is then wrapped with silicone paper to avoid sticking to itself. Most adhesive tapes are produced in log form, such as a 1 to 3 meter wide reel, and then an adhesive tape is used for slitting the reel to the required width.
One type of double-sided ribbon, known as a clothing ribbon, secures clothing for the skin, and is used with a strapless gown or loose skirt, and as a temporary overhaul for falling hems and other clothing imperfections.
